What to do during the homestay?
Planting rice in june/july
There is enough to do and see but ......
First of all: Relax, relax and relax.
Sit on the balcony or in the waterfall house and observe the village, the early morning and late afternoon are the best times.
You will see monks begging for food (at 6 am), cows going to their pasture, people going to work and freshly washed children going to school in their uniforms, pick-up trucks selling vegetables and much more.
If you have a hard time relaxing: have a massage in the waterfall house or enjoy a fresh watermelon shake.
Read the next pages if you want to experience Thai life in the village and visit the attractions around Khon Kaen.
Don't forget to look at the Isan slideshow.
